Hi, my name is Thomas Pham, I’m living and working in Berlin and it’s my passion to bring web concepts to life.
I design and build interfaces for websites, mobile apps and web applications. I do frontend coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and also backend development (PHP, MySQL) from simple templates to large web projects for different Content Management Systems. I like to keep my code clean and tidy and make sure it’s as future proof as possible and easy to build on. For me that’s more than completing a project.
I aquired professional experience in design and web development by working on different projects for several years. So I founded my own web and media design agency and work as freelancer in different fields especially in the games industry.
Currently I’m working here on different platforms to build responsive websites within Symfony 2. I’m responsible for UX concepts and webbased templates in Twig, JS (ES6) and Scss.
For Econa I worked on different frontend projects and build responsive websites with the Symfony 2 Framework. I was responsible for creating templates in Twig, Less and Scss.
I worked in this company on several award winning AAA games that reach millions of players on multiple platforms. Here I did 75% frontend coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), 20% graphic and interface design and 5% backend development (PHP, MySQL).
Here I was responsible for setting up and administering the company network. Besides the development of web tools for process optimization and performance improvement, I also created and maintained the company websites and created print promotions, signets and visual identities.
In a small team I implemented infotainment projects and visualisations for customer like ado and tropical islands. There I created interactive media presentations and websites and learned a lot about cg animation and visual effects.
Here I was responsible for the administration of mail accounts, domains and web databases. I also created print promotions, make-over graphics and corporate designs. I attained deep knowledge in the tourism branch.
In a small development team, I was responsible for setting up and maintaining the company network as well as installing and administering the servers. In addition, I was responsible for creating and maintaining company websites and setting up a collection system.
I founded my own web design and media agency. As freelancer I worked on several online and offline projects.
In order to turn my hobby into a profession, this was my aim. That’s why I decided to train as a computer scientist at Deutsche Bahn AG. During my three-year apprenticeship I learned a lot about hardware and software programming languages, social skills and rules of conduct when working on railroad tracks. However, I decided to change my specialty and studied web development and design.
